MURMELI stores your learning progress — streak, XP, mistakes, spaced-repetition data — along with your language, daily goal and difficulty setting, in a local database on your device. None of it includes your name, email address or any other way to identify you.

MURMELI reads your device's language and region setting once, to pick your starting language. No location or GPS access is used, and this information is never transmitted.

The only network activity MURMELI has is a check for app updates on launch, and communication with the App Store or Play Store when you buy or restore MURMELI Pro. Neither carries any personal information about you or your usage.
